Catch a Disease

One controversial topic when it come to traveling is about the diseases you can catch while in another place. For example, on Globaltravelersusa.com it states, " India, Kenya, Thailand, Peru, and Indonesia rank as five of the riskiest countries for visitors. In India, travelers need to look out for " Delhi belly" or travelers' diarrhea. Travelers should look out for other diseases , including typhoid, hepatitis A, another travelers diarrhea." This goes to show that contamination that the citizens of that area are immune to might not have such a neutral effect on travelers. On the other hand, you can prevent catching any disease by doing research on what vaccinations are needed for different places. another way is by visiting a doctor and asking about the necessary vaccinations. For instance, on Passporthealthusa.com it says that the PHAC and WHO recommend getting vaccinations for the following before visiting Peru: hepatitis A, hepatitis B, Typhoid, Yellow Fever, Rabies, Meningitis, Polio, Measles, Chickenpox, and more. If you take proper care before leaving on your travel it can be safe and disease free vacation. Remember it is better to be safe than sorry!
